Campaigning with Friends of the Earth for a Climate Change Bill in the Queen's Speech Campaigning with Friends of the Earth for a Climate Change Bill in the Queen's Speech
Find out about my campaigning on Climate Change and the Environment

Climate Change is the biggest challenge of our generation. I have been working with groups like WWF, Friends of the Earth and Greenpeace for the introduction of a Climate Change Bill to ensure that we reduce our carbon dioxide emissions. I have also been campaigning in Islington for the introduction of 'green' hybrid buses, which are less polluting and quieter than normal buses. As part of my Marine Bill campaign, I have visited primary schools across the constituency to discuss how we protect the marine environment. Finally, I was honoured to recently receive the "Environment MP of the Year" award and look forward to continuing my work on environmental issues.
