After waiving Greg off in his shared car back to Ramallah (no Mercedes for him!) we met up with Yehuda Shaul from Breaking the Silence.
This is an organisation of former soldiers who insist that they should tell the story of their military service and talk about what it has done to them. Here was another remarkable and highly political young man. He spoke with great passion.
I sat in the garden of the hotel whilst he sat square on the edge of his seat with his hands clasped together. He occasionally pushed his glasses up his nose with a finger. At some stages in his story, he rocked backwards and forwards. After a while, I realised I had become so mesmerised by what he was saying, I began to wonder if I'd stopped breathing!
